I love this place.
I'm not around nearly as much as I wish I could be, but knowing the owners having been a hangout for me when I first moved to Seattle, you won't find better people to support.
Add on that they have some great drinks and it's a really cool community oriented place and there's nothing not to love. -

What the hell happened to this place? I used to live in the area and was a daily customer. I always received pleasant service. It was the only coffee shop I felt any sort of loyalty to, and I made a point of visiting whenever I was in the neighborhood after moving away.
I read that they are closing at the end of this year to make room for more "affordable" apartments which really bummed me out. I am staying in the area and was excited to show my support by getting my morning coffee here during my stay. I came in this morning with my partner and was given the worst customer service experience I think I've ever had. We waited in line to place our order, and when it was our turn, a woman who had just walked in walked right in front of us and ordered. The barista (older, skinny guy who must have been hired since I moved) didn't bat an eye or even acknowledge us. He went ahead and served her, then came to take our order like nothing happened.
My partner decided not to order anything as a result, and explained (assertively but certainly politely considering) why. The barista brushed him off, rolled his eyes, and said "Whatever." I'm not even joking. Just shockingly bad customer service. I guess because the barista didn't recognize us, we didn't matter to him much. But I've been frequenting this coffee shop since before he was hired, so he just lost you guys a long-time customer.
If this is how they run they place now, it's no wonder they can't stay in business. I can't say I will miss it if that's the case. At least they made the farewell less sad? Oh, and the coffee wasn't very good today, either. -

Good coffee, very odd though that their wi-fi blocks quite a few sites including yelp, alibaba, and a few word press sites. This was in the course of about 30 minutes working here recently. Good place to have a coffee, not so much to get work done.

Grumpy by name, grumpy by nature!
Rare to see such a group of sour-pussed, grumpy-assed, uninterested staff. I appreciate sticking to the theme so well. As little effort as possible goes into execution except that is for filling the place up with mismatched tat! -

This place is too cool.
GREAT coffee. (Seriously, they have a LEGIT talent here.)
Awesome ambiance. (Local art, live music, LOVE IT!)
Lots of snacks. (Om, nom....nomity nom. Nom. Nom? Mmmm nooommm.)
Lots of outlets and free wee-fees.
Grab a coffee and get jittery.
I recommend the 20oz Tripple-Lattee.
Someone stop my screen from shaking, please?
